I'm very grateful to have such a great big sister. Over the years we've had some pretty crazy memories. As children we did the most outrageous things together. We used to live in North Carolina and before we came up to visit family, Mindy decided that she needed to make me look "pretty". She proceeded to cut ALL of my hair off. I had short hair until about the second grade because of her.
Another time was when we left and walked about 2 miles through the woods. My parents were in panic mode because we had disappeared from the neighbors home. Someone luckily found us and brought us back home to my parents, safe and sound.
Even though we may fight like cats and dogs, I wouldn't trade her for the world. I love her more than she could ever possibly imagine. Through the rough and the good, I'll always have her back. It doesn't matter if we're fighting or not, I'd drop whatever I was doing to help her out. She means so much to me it's literally insane. She could be the meanest person to me and I'd still love her the same at the end of the day.
Thanks to her, I'm tough. She taught me how to stick up for myself in hard situations. She also taught me not to let anyone walk all over me. There's many things that Mindy and I share in common. We have that "PYE" attitude and trust me, you don't want to see it come out.
Without her my life wouldn't be the same. She moved out a while back and things haven't really been the same. We used to do everything together and be inseparable but now I hardly ever see her. It sucks a lot because I enjoy being with her. She's always there for me to vent to and always there with advice for me. I can't believe we're already grown up into young adults. It's insane how fast the years flew by.
I always think to myself "weren't we just playing outside in the mudd?" "didn't we just play school bus at grams"? where has time gone?
I get to watch my sister turn into the amazing woman she is and I love it. Nothing is better than the love of your sister. It's definitely and unbreakable bond <3
