Fate

I started my new job at Tozier's Family Market about five and a half months ago. During one of my first nights working there I met this guy named Dillan. I was eating my dinner in the break room and didn't realize I could bring my Mountain Dew back downstairs with me, so I left it up there. Dillan then chased me down the stairs and said, "I think you forgot this up there"... I turned around and said to him, "I left it up there for a reason". He threw his hands up and said "okay, then." When I first met him I thought he was kind of odd, but as I got to know him I grew more fond.

My friend Taylor and I were thinking about costumes for Halloween and decided that we were going to be Hugh Hefner aka (Dillan's) playboy bunnies. Taylor couldn't go to Bangor the day we were going to get the costumes so Dillan and I went instead. We went into JC Penny's and Dillan tried on a sexy redish robe!
Then we proceeded to go to Hot Topic so we could get the bunny stuff. Later on that day we stopped for a quick lunch a Burger King.

The Halloween party was at Taylor's house. Dillan and I showed up together and couldn't keep our eyes off of each other. At this point I knew that I really liked him. He was there for me through my last break up and I could never thank him enough for that. He had the best shoulder to cry on. We started to become even closer... we would text all the time and hangout almost every night.

He took me on our first date Christmas night! We went to see Anchorman 2 at the Bangor movie theater. It was a night I'd never forget. We were inseparable and did almost everything together. That night made the foundation for a great relationship that was beginning to form. He asked me to "be his" on January 1st when the ball dropped. Although, I already knew that he was going to ask me out because my friend Taylor gave it away. At first I said I don't know, but later on that day he asked me out again... my answer was YES. Saying yes was the best decision I've ever made. We definitely haven't had a perfect relationship, but who has?

Every relationship has its ups and downs, but that's what makes you stronger as a couple in the end. We butt heads quite often, but he's worth all the dumb fights we have.

I think Dillan's first love was hockey, he's completely obsessed. It's kind of cute how much he loves the Bruins. He hardly ever misses one of their games and I love the fact that he tries to teach me all the tactics of hockey. We spend as much time together as we can, but we've learned that a little space is always a good thing. Going out and doing things with friends definitely helps a lot.

If you're always with your loved one then chances are fights are bound to happen. I could go on and on about mine and Dillan's relationship, but I'll stop here.
