Wouldn't it be much easier to tell the truth, instead of having to remember the dreadful lie you told?
What's going to happen when the lies keep building up and you can't remember all of them? People are going to stop believing you and you're going to feel ashamed of yourself. Sometimes when you get caught up in a lie, you keep lying to cover up your old lies. But does this make you feel good about yourself? Most likely not and if it does then somethings wrong.
If you truly care about someone then you'd tell them the truth no matter how bad it may hurt them. I can tell you from experience that lies hurt a lot more then finding out the truth. It hurts more to find out the truth later on from someone else then the source that it should have came from.
Most of the time people only think of themselves instead of someone else's feelings. You may believe that your lies won't hurt anyone, but they do. It doesn't matter how big or small the lie is, it will still hurt. Once you become known as a liar, no one will be able to trust a word you say.
That's why I believe that everyone should think before they speak. If everyone thought before they spoke then the world might be a better place!
Just remember that all lies hurt. You may be protecting yourself but potentially hurting someone else at the same time.

Jen I totally agree with you. Well put and so true.
ReplyDeleteI agreeing. Lying is just no good. I wonder who you're upset with here. Reading between the lines it seems like you're mad here. Am I right?
